    It’s great for rendering color (the measurement of which is referred to as CRI) because it is devoid of yellow or blue tints. It’s very near to what one regards as ‘the color white’. Temperatures below 3000K begin to appear more yellow than white, the result being a sacrifice to rendering ability as well as pure function and aesthetics. Cool light is brighter than warm light, making it better suited to task lighting, but also means it can feel harsh in the wrong setting. Cooler light contains more blue, which makes for a crisper, fresher light. We have chosen 3000K for our Warm White LEDs as it has proven to be the best balance of warmth and utility. Warm white light contains more red, orange and yellow tones, which creates a softer light with a more cosy feel. Warm White is similar to standard incandescent light bulbs, and is used to help keep a space feel like home.
